"In this day and age, it’s difficult to find a company you can trust. Jim Ricketts Hiab Haulage was recommended to me by a friend, and now I know why: the quality of service is absolutely superb. Keep up the good work!"
"fishing boats and the leisure industry is my game, and there aren't very many people I can trust with my boats But after a friend recommended Jim Ricketts Hiab Haulage, I ended up talking to them and I knew I could put my charter boats safely in their hands. If you're looking for a boat haulier who's able to lift with his own lorry mounted crane with experience and professionalism, then they're the ones!"

"Up to this point I’d been doing a hundred mile round trip to work on the boat. The distance slowed things right down and I didn't do much work for over a year. Life got in the way, as did scraping a living.
I decided to move the boat closer to home and found a much cheaper spot to keep it. Now moving 6 tonnes of rust steel isn’t easy some of the quotes for moving the boat where quite frankly shocking! In the end I settled on using Jim Ricketts Hiab Haulage. Jim has a huge 60 tonne meter Hiab crane built onto his flatbed truck so was able to lift and transport the boat. http://york1943.wordpress.com/ copy and past the link to see my progress" Lex Cousins any information on the vessel will be greatly appreciated

"Hi Jim & Vicki---This is just to express my thanks for a job well done,
I was really pleased that we avoided the low bridge. May I say that I
was very impressed with the professional manner in which the job was
carried out. You were prompt, efficient & hard working. If I am ever
asked to suggest a boat moving firm I will have no hesitation in
strongly recommending you " Ricketts is best forget the rest" It was
a bit concerning seeing part of the keels overhanging, obviously in future
Jim needs to be given the exact width of the keels. I should have measured
it myself.---BR Roger"
